 At the signing ceremony | TOKYO, October 30, 2025 -- Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Takahiro Mori; “OKI” hereinafter) and Mito Kogyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chonburi, Thailand; Managing Director: Akira Nawata; “Mito Kogyo Thailand” hereinafter) signed a partnership agreement on October 28, 2025, to expand the deployment of the Projection Assembly SystemTM in the Thai market. This system is designed to help ensure zero work errors at production sites. Under this agreement, OKI aims to expand sales channels for the system by leveraging the customer base it has built through its printer business, with OKI Systems (Thailand) Ltd. (Head office: Bangkok, Thailand; President: Takashi Nakasendo; “OKI Systems Thailand” hereinafter), the OKI Group company responsible for printer sales, will serve as the main hub for this initiative. | Thailand is home to various manufacturing industries, including automotive and home appliance manufacturers. At sites involving assembly processes in particular, problems such as labor shortages, quality variations due to differences in skill among workers, and rising training and teaching costs have become apparent. Promotion of the government’s Thailand 4.0 (Note 1) policy has also placed increasing demands on production sites to improve efficiency and achieve quality assurance meeting international standards. | |

The system supports zero work errors at manufacturing sites of some 100 companies in Japan, and is also slated to be deployed in the Indonesian market. OKI Systems Thailand is launching the deployment of its first industrial solution in the Thai market. This will enable the OKI Group to create new growth businesses in Southeast Asia and promote business expansion in collaboration with local partners.
